Depending on availability, loaner laptops may be borrowed for remote access or travel.
Staff traveling outside the USA (especially to China, Russia, Ukraine, and other countries experiencing sanctions, political unrest, or unfavorable relations) should request travel loaner laptops to reduce information security risk - traveling with your regular work laptop is strongly discouraged. If you will require VPN access from outside of the continental United States please inform ITS so that a temporary exception can be established for you.
