To change your audio and video settings launch the installed Teams application on your computer by left clicking on your start button and finding Microsoft Teams in your programs, or clicking the icon for Teams in your taskbar if you have one.  



 

After Teams opens, select 3 dots in the top right corner to access the menu then click on Settings.  



To change your audio settings 


To change or adjust your speaker and microphone select devices in the left hand menu. In devices you will be able to change your speaker and microphone with the drop down menus. Under Audio devices select PC Mic and Speakers. Under PC Mic and Speakers you will be able to select your desired headphones for Speaker and Microphone.  The default settings are (Realtek Audio) which is for the microphone and speaker built into the computer. If you have an ITS issued headset, select (Jabra EVLOVE LINK MS). If you are using your own headset find that in the dropdown and select it.





 To change your camera settings 


To change or adjust your camera settings select devices in the left hand menu. In devices you will be able to change your camera settings with the drop down menus.


To change or adjust your camera settings, scroll down to Camera to change your camera with the drop down menu. The default setting for the Camera is the “integrated webcam” which is the camera built in to your computer. If you were issued a web cam by ITS or if you have your own, use the drop down to select your desired camera. 





 

To change your audio or video settings while in a Teams meeting 


Select 3 dots in the top right corner to access the menu then select Device Settings. 



  • Audio: Under Audio Settings use the drop down menu under Audio Devices to select PC Mic and Speakers. Under Speaker use the drop down to select your desired speaker or headset.
  • Video: Under Video Settings use the dropdown menu under Camera to select your desired camera.
